Vintage Treasure

YARD SALE CRUZIN ON JUNE 1, 2013

Started out  extra early on Saturday because one of the main reason I started Garage saleing again was that my Husband wanted to revisit his childhood with old school video game collecting we made some good scores for him. But I was feeling a little left out when we took a trek to the north side and I picked up all these goodies for $10.

A FireKing Measuring cup, brown and gold pyrex mixin bowl. And I love them so milk glass sailboat salt and peppa shakers that have made in the USA stamped on the bottom, you know its old when it was made here in the USA.

I also got a great old suitcase that did not have a funky musty smell it was double great with that bright fuchsia  lining in it. I will be posting how to make that into a side table in the near future so keep watchin.

Such great day I knew this neighborhood could have some good vintage finds but It was way better than I could have imagined.

Treasure of the day Westmorland Vasalina Glass for .25 YEAH THAT'S ONE QUARTER
Truly I wasn't sure what it was at first but it caught my eye, hiding under a basket in a drive way asked around to fellow glass lovers found out it its 1920 era piece I LUV ITS A KEEPER.

Got these old mixin bowls and other glass bake ware for a cool $10.  Old jigsaw for $2 lord know its gotta be better than that Harbor Freight one I got.

Told the kittens this was our last stop and it didn't look like much but the lovely lady went into her garage and pulled these out for ME! 1950's or 60's era handmade dresses metal zipper and all. She said they were just my size and she was right the fit like a glove and bring whole new meaning to less is more! $6 for the bundle priceless for me!
